Kyiv’s Pediatric Cardiology Centre damaged after Russian attack

On July 8, 2024, Russian military targeted medical facilities in Ukraine, causing devastating damage to Kyiv’s Pediatric Cardiology Centre.

During the attack, doctors were performing four surgeries on children with congenital heart disease. The bombing destroyed the operating rooms and infrastructure, causing contamination and endangering patients’ lives.
