Heal a Mother’s Heart
An international fundraising and awareness campaign dedicated to supporting women in Ukraine who have lost their loved ones to the war
Starting April 15, 2025, Maple Hope Foundation launches the campaign Heal a Mother’s Heart.
The project aims to raise awareness about the urgent need for psychological support for women in Ukraine who have lost loved ones to the war, and to walk alongside them — from the depths of grief to the renewal of hope and life.
Dedicated to Mother’s Day, the campaign seeks to raise funds for professional mental health care for mothers mourning their sons and daughters who gave their lives defending Ukraine’s freedom and democracy.
The fundraiser will support specialized rehabilitation programs — both group support and individual therapy — for grieving women.
To expand access to quality psychological care, the campaign will also include a training series for Ukrainian professionals working with people who have experienced the death of a loved one.
